Retainer Agreements

The majority of Potential New Clients will be asked to sign a standard retainer agreement. This means a certain amount of hours are accounted for, paid for upfront,  and held in a Trust Account. Any unused portion will be returned to the client. This is not a flat rate agreement as the initial retainer is never guaranteed to cover all services. However, depending on proximity to a hearing, the client can terminate services at any time. Coleman Attorneys at Law is very cost conscious for their clients.

Unbundled Legal Services

A minority of legal services can be offered on a limited representation. This means the scope of the representation would be limited to only certain tasks where such limitation is ethical and practicable. These limited engagements for the most part will not be appropriate for those matters likely to result in litigation.

Contingency Agreements

Certain matters are appropriate for a contingency fee agreement. This means no monies are paid upfront or on an hourly basis but rather a percentage is taken by counsel once a settlement or court award is received.
